Focus Scripture:  Psalm 23:5
“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies, thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”

I-26 Rest Stop Ministry
In Psalm 23 we are reminded of the Good Shepherd’s loving care for His sheep that leads to their cup running over. In Acts 4:31 and Ephesians 3:20, we hear of how God’s power is at work through lives filled with His Spirit. And in Acts 2:1-4 we are told of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon God’s people.

On May 27, 2017 (today), the Buncombe Baptist Association will serve our awesome God through the I-26 Rest Stop Ministry. This ministry is a great opportunity to connect with those travelling on the interstate. Through this effort, our church teams are able to serve travelers full cups of coffee, but more importantly share the good news of Christ that brings salvation and can fill people’s lives with abundant joy and peace, in spite of the difficulties that come on the journey known as life.

Please join with me to pray for the Buncombe Association and various church teams that will be taking part in this Ministry on May 27th and that each conversation, each Bible handed out, and each cup of coffee provided to a traveler will be an encouraging reminder of how one’s cup will be beyond full when complete trust is placed in Jesus Christ.
