The North Carolina Baptist Aging Ministry will offer an overview and volunteer training for those interested in learning more about "One Hope: A spiritual response to isolation and loneliness" on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. here at the Buncombe Baptist Resource Center (227 Hazel Mill Rd). Coffee/refreshments at 9:45 a.m.
Through One Hope, NCBAM hopes to connect lonely, isolated seniors with willing volunteers who will share the love of God. This training will raise our awareness of the impact of isolation and loneliness in our communities and explore ways the churches can give a much needed spiritual response. Jesus is the ONE HOPE and how will they know unless we show them Jesus.
