The Buncombe Baptist Association organizes and supports various mission projects throughout the year. In addition to the ongoing recycling of used Sunday School literature and bibles, there are many opportunities to connect with local missions throughout the year.

Donate/Recycle Your Used Literature & Bibles

Harvest Seeds Ministry- Shelby, NC
Volunteers from Nesbitt Discovery Academy load donations for delivery to Shelby, NC.

Bring your used Sunday School Literature, Bibles and Christian/inspirational fiction to the Resource Center. These materials will be transported to Harvest Seeds Ministry of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Donated materials are sorted, boxed and transported to Shelby, NC. From there Love Packages Inc. ships the materials to missionaries around the world to aid in sharing the gospel. We accept:

  • Bibles:  New, used, any translation, in any condition
  • Sunday School Supplies:  Quarterlies, teacher books, teaching packets, teaching pictures, etc. for all ages and all publishers. Children’s packets should include just teaching help items and be in the plastic cover sealed shut.
  • Books– Christian/inspirational fiction, commentaries, etc.
  • Please bring the items in a box that closes or has a lid.
